Since Young Slay’s 2012 release Faces Got No Race, which received attention from various college radio stations in the United States, he has released multiple singles and two albums in Creole (R2KM: Rèd Kon Ke Makak – Firm as a Monkey’s Tail and GKNM: Granmoun Ki Non M’- I’m a Grown ass Man). The latter became the first Rap Kreyòl album added to Pandora Radio’s genome. Young Slay receives much attention and criticism for his unique style, dark imagery, knowledge, and veracity.
