The Decca record label was founded in 1929 by Englishman financier Edward Lewis and soon acquired a reputation for pioneering new recording technologies. Nowadays the Decca label forms part of the Universal Music Group, and ensures that new generations of music lovers are able to enjoy classic tracks from a bygone era from artists such as Brenda Lee, Sandra Dee and Bill Haley, all appearing on this compilation.
