Minority was formed in 2001 by Dino Šukalo, Enes Seferovi i Amar ešljar. In the end of 2003, Adam Klemm, a saxophone player from Novi Sad, joined the band. When describing their music, the members of Minority like to say that they play jazz-jazz, alluding to their loyalty to the jazz tradition.
