Five-time Grammy Award-winning yacht rock act Christopher Cross is bringing his full catalog to streaming for the first time. Every 2 weeks throughout summer a new album will be released. 'Greatest Hits Live (Extended Edition)' includes additional tracks originally featured on the live portion of 'Walking In Avalon'. Focus track "Sailing", reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 upon its original release in 1980 and has since become considered an archetype for the yacht rock genre. The track has won Cross Grammy awards for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Arrangement of the Year, and helped him win the Best New Artist award. The song's inspiration comes from Cross's teenage years when he was often taken on sailing trips by an older friend, to get away from the "trials and tribulations" of being a young adult. Cross is currently touring throughout the US.
