Modern Country artist Maria Taylor is fresh out of the studio, and is preparing to release her much anticipated single “Can’t Forgive the Rain” from her forthcoming debut album, “Gunner” on Friday, June 9. Being referred to as, “an incredible talent” (Coop, 97.3 The Eagle), Maria has received high praise on the heels of her performance as the hand-picked, sole, opening act for the Eli Young Band at the NorVa; and was even deemed the “highlight of the night” by The Eagle’s Producer Casey, and Promo Joe. The single was produced by Grammy nominated producer John Terrell at Soul Haven Studios, in Virginia Beach.

The Crittenden, Virginia based songstress burst onto the local music scene as an acoustic cover act in 2016, and took her act to the next level in 2017 introducing her full band line up of some of the area’s premier veteran musicians. Since her debut she has quickly become one of the most sought after acts in the area. Maria has appeared on The Coop Show’s 757 Country Podcast, the Hampton Roads Show, as well as 757 Roxx.

With a full schedule of shows which include an opening slot for Chris Stapleton and Brothers Osborne at the Veteran’s United Home Loans Amphitheater, Maria is just beginning. And with a tour being planned for 2018, she certainly shows no sign of stopping.
