Foreverly
Foreverly is a re-creation of the classic 1958 Everly Brothers album Songs Our Daddy Taught Us by Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and jazz pianist and singer/songwriter Norah Jones. After Armstrong became obsessed with the Everlys' original set of traditional material — which was itself a sidestep away from the mainstream for Don and Phil at the time of release — he asked Jones whether she would like to get involved in the project. Recorded in nine days, Foreverly features Bright Eyes bassist of choice Tim Luntzel and Jones' regular drummer, Dan Rieser
