This new album by the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra conducted by Karl Munchinger is a great demonstration of the wide spectrum that classical music has to offer. It starts "seriously" with Bach's "Musical Offering" arranged for Chamber Orchestra and ends with a musical joke by Mozart. Embedded between those two contrasting pieces of music you can hear the immortal "Kleine Nachtmusik" and Mozart's Divertimento No. 1 in D-Major. Karl Munchinger and his Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra are at home with this music, Munchinger was indeed one of the most outstandig interpreters in this field and his recordings deserve a high ranking among all lovers of classical music.
