Identity is a pleasant but unremarkable outing produced by Herbie Hancock which finds Airto Moreira moving away from the fusion of predecessor Virgin Land to a more acoustic Brazilian sound. The material here is not as strong as on earlier releases. [Originally released in 1975, a Japanese CD reissue appeared in 2000.]
