2010 - Release of “Cerebral Reducing Valve”. Recorded using analog synths and heavily manipulated samples the ep was a venture into dark ambient, noise and minimal techno.

2011 - Mechanical Principle got signed to New York label Audio Visual Algebra - the label who also ended up releasing the second ep “Europa Machine” for Holm/Mirland - the internationally acknowledged collaboration with fellow Dane Kim Holm (REcession Festival).

2012 - The first Holm/Mirland ep “Digitalt Format” was released and soon after that the first Mechanical Principle ep and album, the second Holm/Mirland ep and their debut album “In Control”.

2014 - The release of "Submerge" - the debut album as Mirland - which received very fine reviews internationally.

2015 - Mirland joined with Claus Larsen (Leather Strip, Klutae) to form the synthpop duo Am Tierpark. The debut album "Uncaged" will be released worldwide November 2015.
