To The Edge
The 29th release on Stories In Trance has a distinctly Italian feel to it, being as all involved hail from Italy. Mark Nails presents To The Edge.
Mark Nails (Marco Chiodi) boasts a lengthy production experience within EDM, going all the way back to 1999. Having had global success both DJing and by contributing his work to famous compilation albums across the world (including Ministry Of Sound and Banginglobe) in recent years Mark has taken a step away from this particular sound and refocused his efforts producing more trance/progressive tracks. Some impressive work on Neuroscience Deep, Well Mixed and Perceptive Deep have proved that Marco can continually evolve his creative talents and after marking a welcome beginning with us with his superb remix of Max Fishler's 'Tyrannosaur' (SIT #21) he delivers once again with the beautiful 'To The Edge'.
Continuing the Italian flavour come remixes from fellow countrymen Luca Lombardi and Bluelight (Riccardo Monti). It is always a pleasure to showcase work from Luca Lombardi and here is no exception. Luca's production is exemplary, evidently his imagination knows no bounds and like Marco he also is fine tuning his creative output to be constantly captivating and progressive. This is Luca's third remix on Stories In Trance, after his well supported interpretations of Airborne Angel's 'Desire' (SIT #6) and Ivan Sognatore's 'Buena Vida' (SIT #16) and once again we're confident you'll enjoy what Luca Lombardi has put on offer.
Finally, Bluelight (Riccardo Monti) takes the track down a different, more energetic route with his 'Up Of BPM' remix. Similar to Luca, this is Riccardo's third outing on Stories In Trance after two impressive remixes, Joren Heelsing's 'The Cover Of The Night' (SIT #9) and Airborne Angel's 'Time & Space' (SIT #11).
Stories In Trance aims to uncover the most talented and imaginative new producers and team up with some of the more established names in the scene to work together in evolving the sound. This release sticks firmly to our philosophy of not only showcasing a diverse range of sounds within trance, but also offering balanced releases by seeking out those that can interpret the original in a different way.
As our story continues, we hope that there is something for you in our twenty-ninth release!
Kind regards and happy days!
