I began at age eleven in the year of 1984, I was in the fourth grade. I first started by break dancing in school at recess to music like electric kingdom, jam on it, nucleus, and a breakin song called rocket. At the age 14 in 1987, i would watch a lot of videos on yo Mtv raps on the weekends. That's when i decided i wanted to continue in the music. That year I was introduced to some music by Eze e of of the originators of NWA. As time went on from then till 1989 a few friends and I would attend the school dances, where we would show off our dancing skills. In 1990 I was in the tenth grade and they were having a talent contest and first prize would win a hundred dollars. A few friends of mine and I created a group dance routine, and called ourselves Latin Hype. Four dancers and one vocalist we performed to the song Go for it.
