As an eclectic experimentation with all forms of rock-music, “Mike & Tonic” is a new solo project written, recorded, and produced by Michael Breighner. Originally breaking into the music scene as lead-singer of Austin band, "Skeptic Republic," Breighner created Mike & Tonic after the band went on indefinite hiatus in 2007. After picking up music again in college, the former lead-singer would use his makeshift dorm/studio to record his Mike & Tonic solo project. After moderate success of his, “Rum & Mike EP,” Breighner went on to write, record, and produce the thirteen-track debut album, “Mike On the Rocks.” Michael Breighner currently attends college in Lubbock, Texas, where he continues to make music.
