The Bats are comprised of 5 "girls" and 3 guys, making efforts over the last 15 years to stave off the aging process by writing and performing their own particular Batmusic. The Bats Live experience involves considerable public foolishness and personal amusement, in addition to great musicianship, so it continues to embarrass (particularly the teenage) offspring, who cringe when their moms sing about sex (eww). Local performances pack the house every time, as their avid fans return with "Bat Virgins" to initiate into the almost cult-like following. (Initiations involve door prizes from The Dollar Tree.)

Despite their proclivity for snacking, rather than actually rehearsing, The Bats continue to work up new tunes in the depths of the BatCave (Marilyn's basement studio), where, between the mango salsa and the broccomole, tight harmonies are refined, cool guitar licks are developed, and choreography is, well, mostly discouraged. In this CD, they offer an audio glimpse of their live performance at Natasha's, which is REALLY FUN! particularly for adults.
