Diversion formed in Chicago in 2012 after Nathan Greenhalgh and Taylor Noelle met at a recording studio open house.
Initially brought together by their shared love of acoustic music, Greenhalgh and Noelle began jamming a month later. After releasing an EP in 2013 and playing many local shows, Diversion recorded their self-titled debut full-length album, which mixes rock and electronic sounds.
