Southern Soul genre; innovative and electric style has taken Southern Soul to another
level. Called the "Quincy Jones of Southern Soul Music, " his songwriting and production
credits have been linked to some of the biggest chart-topping independent artists like,
Theodis Ealey, Lebrado, Mel Waiters, Lacee and some of the hottest Southern Soul singles
(Throw Back Days-Mel Waiters, Stand Up In It,Francine Theodis Ealey, Fire Lebrado ,Lacee's Groove and many more!!!!!!) of the decade. He has worked closely with R&B artist Houston, and
the management team for the Grammy Award winning, R&B artist Monica. His con-
sistently succesful track record and undeniable versatility has made him one of the
most sought after independent producers.
Born in Columbus, MS and currently a native of Atlanta, GA, Bruce Billps was deeply rooted and
passionately immersed into music at a very young age. Starting out as a drummer, playing
in his high school band; Bruce Billups, like many young aspiring musicians; rendered his talents to a variety of local bands.
Well now, years later, Bruce Billups has definitely proven that lots of hard work and
perseverance really pays off! Hoping to work with all the great Southern Soul and Blues
