Spaceboy is the nickname that has been used to describe guitarist/composer Vince Pastano (V. Rossi, L. Carboni); the guitar sounds in this album are reminiscent of an endless lunar landscape and several titles of the pieces describe what might seem like a real voyage through a different time and space.
The album is a collection of 14 instrumental compositions written between 2011 and today, including a cover version, a previously unreleased track and six alternate versions that have been remixed and stripped of all vocals to be brought back to the essence of what they used to be when they were composed. There is also one piece co-written with Marc Urselli (L. Reed, J. Zorn) which was released in the album Hakhel Tribulation by the duo under the name Past the Mark.
Besides Vince Pastano, the album features musicians Ignazio Orlando (C.C.C.P.), Antonello D'Urso (A. Branduardi, L. Carboni) and Max Messina, who are all co-founders along with Pastano of the independent label Liquido Records (www.liquidorecords.it).
