Seven or Less
Cue's "Seven or Less" contains 9 tracks of varying styles and lengths, with more minor harmonies and organic instrumentation than previous Cue albums. The concept was to use seven instruments, or less, per track, and to have a more minimalist approach in form, melody, and harmony, with a few divergences into more complex harmonic structures. As always, composer Chris Joye, carefully crafts each track for licensing in the commercial and film industry, creating memorable melodies and textures ideal for licensing.
Chris Joye plays every instrument, mixed and mastered each track, created the artwork, and fully self-produced the entire album.
Notable organic instruments played:
Bass
Electric Guitar
Accordion
Concertina
Cajon
Ukelele
Marimacho
and all virtual instruments
