GENTLE MAN is a collection of 14 songs selected by yoga pioneer Sharon Gannon from THE SONG OF THE STATUES, WALKING IN THE DAYS OF THE PROPHECIES and MR. PAUL MCMAHON. These 3 CDs and others by Paul are also available from CDBaby.com.

Sharon co-founded the Jivamukti Yoga Center with David Life. They were early supporters of Paul's music and play his songs in their yoga classes. He credits the mysterious agency of Sri Bhagavan Das as beloved catalyst to their friendship.

The songs are beautiful, introspective and inspirational, informed by insights from his healing and spiritual search for truth. And some are just, ah, songs. People trance out on the words and music. There is no one style, but overall GENTLE MAN tracks toward country and folk with forays into cabaret and 'other.' Each song more or less stands alone. The arrangements vary from solo acoustic to seven piece cabaret band with opera singers.
