Orin are a Hobart-based alternative rock band.
Initially beginning as a recording project for vocalist Sam Marshall's solo work; gradually the current members of the lineup became involved in the performing and writing process, culminating in the release of their debut album 'I'm Mortal' in May 2014.
Self-produced and recorded and mixed and mastered by Jamie King (BTBAM, He Is Legend,) 'I'm Mortal' is a collection of eleven songs that span from acoustic ballads to reggae grooves to funk jams and more.
Live performances see the band reinterpreting their songs; extending them, deconstructing them and recreating them in an always unique and energy-charged atmosphere.
