I found music at a early age as most others. My parents would always play music around the house, particularly my father who is a musician. I grew up listening to artist such as “The Temptations” and Patti La Belle all the way up too Prince and many more. In the early to mid 80’s as most kids my age I was fascinated by this new movement of Music called Rap or better known as “Hip Hop”. After watching the movie Beat Street and Crush Groove that’s all it took, I was hooked.

I started writing rhymes at the age of 15 with a friend of mine, it started out just as a fun hobby or a way to express ourselves. After a couple of years of writing, my rhymes skills went to another level. At that point I knew I had a talent for this art. Known for my complex and clever wordplay I acquired the name “MasterMind”. Nobody gave it to me, I seen it on the side of a board game box in 1992, and I knew that would be a good fit.
