With a sound reminiscent of 90's R&B stars such as Aaliyah or Janet Jackson, she draws on these influences, yet has a voice and style all her own. Growing up around all genres of music, Maryann has channeled that exposure into a versatile style. She is creating music that combines Soul, R&B, Pop, Electronic, Trap and Hip-Hop, to find a sound that will appeal to the masses. Not only has Maryann been writing and performing her own songs, but she's also been writing for other artists. Aside from the music she directs and edits video, including her own music videos. Teaming up with producer N8 the Gr8, the two have been experimenting over the past few years and have come up with a sound quite unique. The first release from the duo was Maryann's solo record "Timing is Everything" (Available Now). Her sophomore album is due out this year. The album is titled "Futuristic Always" and is a mix of what she calls "BedroomTrap" and futuristic urban/electronic sounds.
