The Boss are a four piece guitar driven power pop band originating from East London during the mid 80's, and adopted by the British mod revival movement of that period. The bands influences were drawn from late 70's bands such as The Clash, and The Jam, and also from the 60's/70's period of bands such as The Who.
The Boss enjoyed a wide audience during the 80's playing London's top clubs, as well as all over the UK. They also embarked on a three week mini tour of Italy and headlined a number of gigs in Paris. The band split at the end of the 80's as the music scene had changed beyond all recognition. But reformed in 2014 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their original formation.
This album is the realisation of tracks originally written over 30 years ago, and now finally brought together and presented as the very first 'Boss' Studio album featuring the full original line up. The album also includes three brand new tracks for this 2016 release. This is a really gutsy power packed album that will not disappoint!
