This recording represents bassist Dave Nichols at his best. His flawless tone, timing and execution of some of the most harrowing bass lines imaginable is a wonder to behold. David Caceres on alto sax plays "out of his mind". Paul Chester earns his nickname "Chestworth" and Todd Harrison on drums and Ted Wenglinski on keyboards are endlessly creative.
