The Hardest Easy

The Hardest Easy

Eugene Ruffolo is a New York based singer songwriter who's music has been celebrated and enjoyed throughout the world. On his third and arguably most compelling release "The Hardest Easy", Eugene joins forces with guests such as Marc Cohn, Lucy Kaplanski, and LA vocal group Venice. This deeply personal and soulful record was a collaborative production effort by Ruffolo himself, Ben Wisch (Marc Cohn, Patty Larkin, Caedmon's Call etc.), Ben Wittman (Lucy Kaplanski, The Story..), and Alan Zahn. It was recorded in NYC and features many of the city's most gifted musicians. In it's first weeks on the market, "The Hardest Easy" has already been hailed by fans and music critics alike as Ruffolo's best work. The songs are mainly written by Ruffolo himself, with the exception of the uplifting "Only Love" ( a Nashville favorite), and the strirring "Hills of Sicily", a co-write with legendary acoustic musician Artie Traum. When Ruffolo is not touring with his original music, he stays busy offering his highly sought -after voice to the projects of others, having worked with artists as diverse as Garth Brooks, Livingston Taylor, Run DMC, David Wilcox, and Spyro-Gyra to name a few. He is the first prize winner of the prestigious Telluride Troubador and Merlefest songwriting competitions and an overall swell guy. CHECK OUT EUGENE'S NEW FANSITE AT WWW.EUGENERUFFOLO.NL
