Hipótesis Ubicua
Born in 1979, in Guadalajara, Mexico. He has been playing guitar since 13 years old, and studied piano at the age of 8. His playing style and his way to composed music has been influenced by classical music and rock. His last band TOCCATA released an album back in 2005 called “Circe” and it was a very good experiment of modern Progressive Rock. He also recorded a classical music album (Flute and Guitar) and made original arrangements for it. So, he has analysed music and put all his talent to create an album in which all these musical elements could be combined to generate a special sound, very fluent, dynamic, and melodic and even hypnotic with lots of keyboards and changing time signatures.
This is Reminding me one moment of a more progressive Joe Satriani style on one end of the scale and then ranges to some wonderfully mellow acoustic parts with the chapman stick that take you to a place far away from this time to a younger civilization when things seemed simpler and yet were much harder. Then into some great 70 prog rock, moving into 70's power progressive, it's quite a wonderful new offering bringing the greatness of old school prog rock blended with harder more current progressive elements and even moments of the middle ages shine through at time transporting you through time like a musical time machine. -Lance King
