There are those who say that music is more important than life itself.
And, there are those who realize that music is much more important than that. The latter category includes Hummingbird & Crow, the west coast outsiders who in music found a common escape from life´s performance demands, pressure, and stress.
Through experimenting with the vocal harmonies of the hummingbird and the rasping squawk of the crow they found a fixed point in the musical traditions of folk, blues and rock. Embracing the rebellious heart of musicians such as Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie and Ani Difranco, while applying the modern sound of modern folkrock bands such as Mumford And sons, Hummingbird and Crow is always in motion. Playing instruments they do not master, constantly exploring and learning. Hummingbird & Crow is the result of three friends around a kitchen table, candles, many late nights and many bottles of wine.
