"The emotion that Sarah carries in her voice and wandering eyes draws listeners into that part of her world beyond the chords and lyrics.

The Seasons is comprised of ten well-crafted tracks which were written in the past two years with content related to the events that happened during that time: enlightenment, change, coming out, love, and heartbreak. Sarah recorded the album in Los Angeles with her brother, [jazz musician] Dave Lewis, who was a significant contributor in the album’s production, engineering, and mixing. The opening track “Uncertain” serves as a strong intro to the themes of The Seasons. “Midnight Meanderings”, my favorite track, is percussively forward-moving and revolves aroundphilosophy behind ancient history. “American Dream” was written by Sarah in the eleventh grade for an English project on the ‘American Dream’. In our recent correspondence, Sarah wrote, “I guess the hypocrisy in America and the ‘American Dream’ led me to come (back) to Canada. I’m quite content with my choice to do s
