Ted Atkatz formed NYCO in 2004, and soon after left his position at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra to pursue his band full time. The band is now based in Los Angeles, and his been featured in the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune, and the Chicago Sun Times, as well as Chicago Public Radio. NYCO has released two full length records, "Two" (2005) and "Realize" (2008). "Future Imperfect" is due to release this winter, and "Uncomfortable" is the first single release from the album.
