Kirtan Soul Revival (KSR) is New York City's newest, funkiest, devotional musical experience. The trio (Helen Styring Tocci, Calia Marshall & Todd Keller) use Sanskrit mantras, original music, spirituals and traditional music from around the world to create a unique, dynamic sound that merges funk, rock, rhythm and blues, world grooves, and chants. Lush three-part harmonies add fullness and depth to their sound. KSR creates a space where improvisation and exploration are encouraged and, through call and response, anyone can easily experience the freedom and joy of singing in community.
