The Dan Thomas Quintet formed in 2001, has been delighting audiences with its constant evolution and creativity. The group performs original material written by all of its members. While the group focuses on the hard bop tradition that grew up on the East Coast, it extends itself to perform the full spectrum of the jazz tradition from early swing, bop, free jazz, post modern bop, and eastern music. Each member of this fine group has the performance resume and educational background that make each performance world class.
