The 12 Bands of Christmas is a 501c3 Not for Profit organization based in Augusta Georgia that focuses on providing the healing power of music to childhood cancer patients at the Children's Hospital of Georgia. Proceeds from this album will go to fund those efforts as well as provide patient families with immediate financial assistance while their child is being actively treated. Each artist featured on this release has donated their time and talents to this project. Another key to the success of this fundraising music project is the donation of studio time at Green Light Sound Studio in Augusta Georgia by studio owners Morgan Parham and Bruce Skinner. Morgan Parham also recorded and produced all tracks with the exception of John Kolbeck's "Wild Christmas Tree".
