Gerygone & Twig's debut album the Slee-Py features all of the time signature changing, hand clapping, harmonicomelodizing, and banjo twangling that they are characterized by. This album was completely homegrown and handsewn by the four prestigious members of the troupe in Wasilla, Alaska, where the foursome grew up. It was written, composed, recorded, produced, mastered, and painted by these four young birds and features music that looks good on staff paper and sounds terrific in your kitchen while you cook your waffles. The project was funded by a Kickstarter project created, catered to, and hosted by the band, and in 30 days they doubled their funding goal to make a whopping total of $1800 from various fans, funders, and lovers.
