All Four One: Vol. 1 - Americana Compilation
This is a Compilation created for the Americana Music Association Conference help in Nov. '2007. It features 3 songs each by four artists: Ted Russell Kamp, Marvin Etzioni, Adam Levy, and Wink Keziah and Delux Motel.
Ted Russell Kamp's three songs in this disc are taken (one each) from his 3 most recent albums "Divisadero", "Nashville Fineline", and "NorthSouth". Ted is based out of L.A. and, aeide from playing bass and writing with Shooter Jennings, has been writing recording and putting out his own critically aclaimed soul-infused country and roots rock records.
Marvin Etzioni is a renowned songwriter and producer. He was a founding member of the seminal roots/rock band, Lone Justice, and has earned respect for producing the Counting Crows, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Grey DeLisle, and Adam Levy among others. The three songs he contributes to this record are from his solo albums "Bone", "Weapons of the Spirit", and "The Mandolin Man".
Adam Levy is based out of New York City and has earned great respect for his work as the guitarist for Norah Jones. These songs are from his newest record "Washing Day" and his live record "Loose Rhymes, Live on Ludlow Street". A special note is that his song "The Party Is Over" was co-written with Chris Difford form Squeeze.
Wink Keziah and Delux Motel are one of the great new honky tonk bands in the USA right now. The songs are taken from Wink's new record "Working Songs For The Drinking Class". If you haven't checked out Wink, you need to.
