Little Bit
Overflow is Long Island's own Smokin' Joe Cortese teamed up for the first time with singer/lyricist sister Linda. Their debut album, titled "Little Bit" has more than just a little bit for everyone. The music is a melodic blend of rock, pop, and acoustic genius.
This brother and sister team started working together in 2002, when they discovered their amazing ability to blend their talents of edgy rock guitar, sultry female vocals, lyrics with a message, and melodies that stick in your head for days. John Pandolfo at NiteFlight Studios in Brentwood, NY, engineered as well as plays bass guitar and percussion on the album. Add the excellent drumming of Andy Witt, a few nicely placed keyboard spots by Greg Schleich, some creative production, and there you have it - music that is powerful, intoxicating, refreshing, even gut-wrenching at times.
Joe and Linda were later joined by the amazing bassist Rich Hall, the animated Rich Dean on keyboards, and long-time friend Rockin' Rob Cunningham on drums. There's something here everyone can relate to.
