Seeking to share truth with a friend, Spencer Gunnels (SG) wrote his first rap song “Trying So Hard” explaining that we cannot live on our own strength, and because of our imprecations we need God’s grace to live. Many years went by and he grew in his craft through the production of his first album “Wake Up” released in 2010. Now, years later, he brings us “Days Like This” an album of authentic vulnerability that allows people to bring all their questions, doubt, and bitterness to the light. It seeks to spark hope in us that live in a world of hopelessness.
