Ron E Jones is an artist and songwriter from Sydney, Australia. Blessed with the gift of song, he has established himself as one of the country’s premier pop music songwriters - working behind the scenes writing for many of Australia’s top stars. In Malaysia, he is recognized as the artist from the breakthrough number one single ‘Tear Us Apart’, with Malaysian singer Nadhira. Tear Us Apart charted on all major Malaysian radio stations and recently won Best Pop Song at the VIMA Music Awards 2012.

Fast forward to now, and Ron E Jones has released his own debut solo single. Jones’ love of recording music carries through the lyrics of his latest ballad, his vocals and charisma warming the hearts of his fans.

Time Machine, an emotive love song - goes that one step further in the heartbreak factor.

“There are specific moments in time that you can never ever duplicate or recreate, especially in a love sense. With people or in relationships no matter how they end up, if you look back there are always moments that were amazing at the time.” Jones reflects.

“I think songs ARE time machines take you to specific moments in life” says Jones. “Most of the songs I listen to have that effect on me. I listen to a song and I instantly feel the same as I did when I heard that song for the first time, or think of a place, time, or person. This time I tried to convey that Time Machine concept in a song. So the idea exists on a few levels for me.”
