The West E.P.
Storming out of Boston, The West are the rebellious energy of a new generation of rock and rollers. The group is comprised of four members in the time-honored format. The West are influenced by every annal in the history of recorded music. They are fronted by the charismatic debauchery of Gareth Jones, the only member also born in Massachusetts. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, guitarist Alec Emmons cuts through The West's innovative songs and clever lyrics with what will be legendary licks. Pat Speece pounds his way out of Philadelphia, artfully mixing his solid low frequency fortitude with the artful touch of a master. Patrick Dalton graciously claps thunder bolts on the drum kit, viciously grinding out the rock with ease. Together, the four diligently and entertainingly press on in the manner of their forefathers. They stop for drinks occasionally, but nothing can deter their crash-course to the front door of the rock and roll pantheon.
Though the group continues with another lineup, this recording marks the beginning of The West's long and fruitful journey.
