The Trouble I Find
Anousheh is from Richmond, VA. "The Trouble I Find" EP is the first solo release for the singer/songwriter since 2005, and the songs feature a brand new sound with a brand new band.
Anousheh began her career as a solo artist with her first release, "Let the Ground Know Who's Standing on Him" (released in 2005 on Triple Stamp Records). This album was an extension of her piano-based folk style, and a truly personal and thought-provoking album.
From there she had the good fortune of meeting and working with the DJ group Deep Dish on two major EDM hits, "Flashdance" and"Say Hello". "Say Hello", co-written by Anousheh, was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2006.
Since that time Anousheh has collaborated with DJ Sharam on several other EDM tracks, but has been diligently working on her solo music with a new band.
"The Trouble I Find" is the culmination of 2 years of evolution and work, and Anousheh and the band couldn't be more proud. According to music journalist Hilary Langford of Style Weekly (Richmond VA) "...she has penned her best work to date. These are songs with keen pop sensibilities that never verge on ordinary and boast a distinctly modern sound".
The Trouble I find is a rich, layered, dynamic and soulful album of beautifully crafted pop songs. Anousheh's distinct vocals carry through every track with thoughtful lyrics and infectious melodies.
