Moments
The inspiration behind his premier album Moments, James offers the listener the chance to escape to the Sunshine of South Africa, to a park where children play, to moments of solitude and reflection. This work features a wide array of material from soulful grooves of the title track “Moments “to the sweet innocence of a child with the waltz “Leilani” to the heart pounding African drumming on “I remember South Africa”. This work is a journey through different time periods that we all experience in life. The album will uplift you, make you laugh, make you smile and think of the times you have shared with family, friends and loved ones.

Every Moment in this life is a chance to explore the depths of who we are, to seek the unknown and find comfort in that, to walk and observe the beauty of nature from sun rise to sunset, to remember the beauty of rain as it falls into the mouth of beautiful flowers, to watch a child take its 1st steps, to witness birth and death,to spend time with those you love and care hoping the time never ends and wishing for more laughter and good times. It is in every moment we make decisions that will affect generations. Every moment we seek to be better and strive for our goals and dreams. It’s in our darkest hour we reflect on that which is no longer but we find beauty in change. We remember moments of solitude, reflection, good times, and bad times. We should always remember to be thankful for those moments that affected us deeply. The time was maybe one second an hour but we remember that it had a profound impact on us and we chose to embrace it and hold on to it . It was that moment we realized our dreams could be reality, it was in that moment we let go of doubt, fear, and sadness. We made a choice to start living life in the here and now. It was that moment we realized that certain things are not within our grasp and we must let it go. It is with this space and time I present my debut CD entitled “Moments”. I hope the album will uplift you, make you laugh, make you smile, and think of the times you have shared with family, friends, and loved ones.
