~ Na Palm ~
In recent years, hip-hop and electronic music have inched ever closer to each other, cross pollinating healthy scenes for a fresh sound that is winning over countless fans of both genres. Yet few rappers have effortlessly melded true lyricism with house and electro-infused beats….until Na Palm.
Beginning his musical career deep in the Chicago house music scene, Na Palm took the clubs by storm with his lyrical prowess and live element that routinely complimented electronic deejay sets abound. Ove...r the past two years, Na Palm has taken his message from the underground Chicago club scene to the rest of the country: performing live to new and older fans alike via opening up for larger artists and headlining college shows. Having 175+ national tour stops under his belt in just over two years, the future MC of the EDM generation has managed to procure over 275K Facebook fans and be a compelling force within the burgeoning dance music scene that has quickly taken America by storm. After performing at Ultra Music Festival, SXSW, Wavefront Music Festival, and Global Dance at Red Rocks Na Palm is helping pave the way for electronic MC’s and beyond.
And proof is in the pudding that this “EDMc” is more than just a performer. His electronic-inspired merchandise line ushered by his influential “Dirty Girls Like Dirty Beats” concept has not only been a best-seller across the country at major music festivals and all over the web, but it was also picked up by the national retail giant Hot Topic; making Na Palm the only unsigned artist to be featured in that mega-retailer. In an industry over-stricken with stereotypical ‘band tees’ Na Palm has again managed to pave his own way by offering his fans ad music-lovers alike a creative alternative to your everyday music merchandise.
Na Palm’s music is still his bread and butter and what separates him from the pack. During the Summer of 2012, Na Palm launched his innovative, first-of-its-kind EDM podcast series Electronic Chronic; whereas he took the best elements of a house music DJ set, incorporated his mastery on the mic, and showed the world how his live presence and lyricism can be an invigorating change of pace from an otherwise monotonous path that EDM seemed to be heading. And now, 2013 has already started with an explosion that only a “napalm” bomb could induce! With the release of his cutting-edge, 3D-mapping projection music video that seamlessly captures the forward-thinking sounds of his new single “Away For You,” Na Palm is ready to take his burgeoning national presence to a another level. Most recently, the EDMc teams up with the Chicago house music legend and pioneer, Bad Boy Bill ,and the prodigy production tandem Sephano & Torio to create what-could-be one of the quintessential club bangers of the year “Roam The Night.” The kid never stops working, and we can all see the party is rapidly heating up for Na Palm in 2013…and all of the world is invited.”
