D-BOY is a rapper/producer from New Orleans, LA. With a voice and a flow that is quickly getting the industry's attention, D-BOY is primed to drop his debut album, Wordz From a Tortured Soul, in early 2006. The CD will be released on his own imprint, HARDLIFE RECORDS.
Always being an avid fan of rap/hiphop, it wasn't until a couple of years ago that D decided to give music a serious thought. "I used to write rhymes in school and stuff like that, but I never really put songs together as far as hooks and verses and concepts. Now its like a drug to me man- my music really is my therapy. Just to be able to express myself lyrically, and musically, really helps me to deal with sh*t that has gone on in my life."
