Rick and Karen met eight years ago in a small New England church known for its unique blend of tradition, spirituality and openness to new worship styles. While preparing for their first duet as suggested by a fellow choir member, they found that they worked effortlessly together and had strikingly similar musical and spiritual backgrounds and influences. The natural course was to team up together to pursue their mutual passion for bringing contemporary, heartfelt music into worship. They would practice for hours in an empty, cold church. The creative and spiritual "zone" that would envelope them made hours seem like minutes and they wouldn't be aware of passing time until their hands and feet were numb with cold. They were married five years later.

Rick and Karen David just released their first collaborative recording effort entitled, "Time Within". All of the songs on "Time Within" were written by Rick and Karen. This CD was recorded with the intention of creating a reflective mood which would hopefully bring a moment of peace to listener's souls.
