A seeming follow-up to their debut release "Winter"(Valiant Death Records), this new 10" record known as "Desert" includes 5 new beautiful songs in Wax & Wane's unique indie-folk sound, drawn from elements of the lo-fidelity folk movement of past American artists, as well as from more staple performers of the mid-century British folk revival.

Wax & Wane's music creates an atmosphere of sounds and melodies filled out with simple guitar lines, chiming bells, a very lyrical violin, piano, and slight, simple percussion.
