Djoon
First there was Gorgeoussound, a cover-band that played late 90’s indie, pop-rock hits such as Radioheads’, The Verve’s, Ben Harper’s...Then Fab, the guitar player, who named himself Gorgeous, little by little experienced songwriting. Arrived in Paris on his own, he put his money into a Home Studio, very lightly equiped at first, intending to produce a first album... Months after months, some good demo-songs are released, then uploaded on the Web, and some of them sent to Labels...Gorgeous works on his own the way to record and mix... After 2 years off, old demos left behind, Gorgeous gets on a new project: “Djoon”, a real debut album, and starts writing more than 12 songs that he will record the year after, in a home studio pretty much improved. He records bass and guitars, voices, and use drums programmings of his own...months of work that will eventually lead to “Djoon”, an at-last-11-track-album, now released since November, 2006. Now one can listen to Gorgeous on live around Paris first, very soon abroad!
