On the banks of the Mississippi River in the summer of 1979, a young boy grabs a broom and begins to "air guitar" the songs he hears in his rock-n-roll imagination. Flash forward 35 years. Four musicians gather in a suburban Indiana garage, taking the first steps towards forming a band. By the end of that first jam, Jester is born. Terry Pepple (vocals, guitar), Jeff Humbert (lead guitar), Jay Arnold (bass, vocals), and Michael Vaughn (drums, vocals) chose the name Jester to communicate their desire to "entertain the King." Since the spring of 2014, they've been creating original Christian rock that borrows heavily from the classic rock sounds they grew up with.
