For years, Sam Halaby aka Absolute dreamed of having a career in the music industry. In February 2010, after years of writing music he gathered his library of lyrics and went into the studio for first time. In a mere seven days, Absolute managed to record and master 15 tracks. During this time he wrote 2 songs to send to Multi-Platinum and Grammy Award Nominee Kurupt and Grammy Award Winning, number one billboard chart artist Beenie Man. Both tracks were recorded and produced and are scheduled for release this year on Absolute’s mixtape, “Features”.

After moving to Vancouver in 2011 to further his career, he worked side-by-side Grammy award winning producer Chin Injeti (Dr.Dre, Drake, Pink, Eminem and 50 cent) to produce several tracks, one of which will be available on the “Features” mixtape. Tapping into his Middle Eastern roots, Absolute linked up with producer Troy Samson (Snoop Dogg, Kelly Rowland) and #1 hit songwriter and International platinum artist, Craig Smart. The collaboration, “Party In Paradise” landed Absolute a worldwide distribution deal With Universal Music Group/ Ingrooves Fontana. The song gained major radio spins and landed him on the USA Top 100 DRT Hip Hop chart at #6.

He’s since teamed up with SOCAN Song Of The Year Nominee producer and songwriter Ovidiu Bistriceanu “Ovi” (Massari, Mia Martinez) to record his upcoming fall release “The World Is Mine.”
