I REMEMBER YOU is a dedication to the late, great musicians David “Fathead” Newman and Dewey Redman, both of whom I had a working relationship with for over fifteen years. Also included on the CD are compositions dedicated to drummer Paul Motian, pianist/vocalist Ray Charles, and the great Brazilian vocalist Gal Costa. All these musicians have greatly influenced and shaped my musical life as a creative artist.

JOHN MENEGON (Bassist / Composer / Arranger) A resident of Upstate New York, Menegon started his career as a jazz bassist in Montreal. After having worked for several years on the Canadian jazz scene, he then went on to hone his skills in NYC in the mid-80s.
