On September 29 Hand’Solo Records celebrated 20 years as an indie rap label in Canada with a party at Lee’s Palace, and the release the next day of a brand new 40-song, 2-disc compilation with volume 3 of the label’s signature Bassments of Badmen series, the first volume in the series was also the inaugural release for the label in 1996. Bassments of Badmen 3 is like a big reunion, bringing together different eras of artists who have worked with the label over the previous two decades, and some of them even brought their friends along.
