This EP was cultivated in a pre-war building deep in Brooklyn. Specifically in a living room and bathroom.Think crumbling walls complete with screaming radiators and high ceilings. All songs were written over the course of this past year by Nellen Dryden. 'Abuelita' being the first, was inspired by stories of her great grandmother born in Deadwood, South Dakota. Mixing, recording and many instrumentations were provided by producer and musician, Jules Belmont (The Visitors). It is hoped that this music feels familiar in the warmest and dreamiest ways. Our Influences are some things Country, Americana, Folk, tremelo, being outside, Gospel, Afro-Cuban, Electronic, furry companions, home-cooked meals, Winter, Summer, driving upstate, Folk, and old guitars, to name a few.
