Dr. Martin King is an active soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player in the U.S. and abroad. On this disc, he performs a collection of some of the most widely beloved works for unaccompanied horn. This repertoire presents King with the freedom to explore a wide ranges of dynamics, tempos, musical languages, ranges, and styles. Devotees of brass music will enjoy these unique pieces and King’s wonderful performances. An advocate of music education, King is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Music at Washington State University, has taught in the Virginia public schools and presented workshops and master classes across the country.
